A010-13 anti-phospho-PLB (Thr-17), PT-17 lot:0401-01

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide coupled to Keyhole limpet hemocyanin	Formulation: Whole lyophilised rabbit serum.
Antigen/specificity: Polyclonal antibody raised to the phosphopeptide sequence RSAIRRAST(PO₄)IEY. Recognises Thr-17 phosphorylated PLB and dual (Ser-16/Thr-17) phosphorylated PLB, but not dephosphorylated PLB.	Reconstitution & Storage: Store dessicated at 4C prior to reconstitution. Dissolve lyophilised serum in 20ml deionised water. Freeze in aliquots at –70C. Stable for at least 12 months. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles - this denatures antibody molecules.
Species reactivity: Bovine, dog, ferret, hamster, human, rat, sheep Applications: Western blot (1:5000), immunofluorescence microscopy (1:200)

Quality control testing

Immunoblot analysis: : PT-17 (1:5000), of this lot, detected Thr-17 pPLB in 0.3mg cardiac SR (figure 1) and rat heart homogenate (100mg). All immunoreactivity was absent when blots were probed by PT-17 in the presence of 1mM epitope peptide (P010-13), data not shown.
