A010-35    anti-dephos-RYR2 (Ser-2809), RYR2-2809deP    lot:0401-05

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide coupled to Keyhole limpet hemocyanin

 

Formulation: Whole lyophilised rabbit serum.

 

Antigen/specificity: Polyclonal antibody raised to the peptide sequence YNRTRRISQT. Recognises Ser-2809 dephosphorylated RYR2 exclusively, and will not react with RYR2 phosphorylated at Ser-2809.

 

Reconstitution & Storage: Store dessicated at 4C prior to reconstitution. Dissolve lyophilised serum in 50ml deionised water. Freeze in aliquots at –70C. Stable for at least 12 months. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles - this denatures antibody molecules.

 

Species reactivity: Dog,  rat, sheep

  Applications: Western blot 1:5000 immunofluorescence 1:200

 

 

 

Quality control testing

Immunoblot analysis: RYR2-2809deP (1:5000), of this lot, detected Ser-2809 dephos-RYR2 in 10mg cardiac SR (figure 1). All immunoreactivity was absent when blots were probed by RYR2-2809deP in the presence of 1mM epitope peptide (P010-35), but addition of 1mM phosphorylated peptide (P010-30) had no effect on antibody binding to the Ser-2809 dephosphorylated form of RYR2.
