Badrilla Ltd. is a biotechnology company delivering novel research tools to biological and biomedical research communities. We are an innovative company, with a passion for research, which drives the development of products of exacting quality, specificity and value. Our products set the standard in their field.

Based in Leeds, UK, we make and distribute exceptional monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies to proteins, peptides and phospho-proteins. We source excellent antibodies from academic leaders and we research new technologies capable of enhancing the productivity and incision of research. This research has yielded a new calibration technology for immunoassays, which will permit the performance of Quantitative ImmunoAssays (QIA) to drive Systems Biology research. The first products of this proprietary technology will be released in 2010.

Meet the board:

	Paul J. England, Ph.D (Chairman) was appointed non-executive chairman in 2005. Prior to joining Badrilla, Paul was senior VP (research) Aurora Biosciences, CA and Head Molecular Screening SmithKline Beecham.
	John Colyer, Ph.D. (Founder & CEO), Professor of Biotechnology at University of Leeds, UK and founder of biotechnology companies PhosphoProtein Research and Fluorescience Ltd. John heads a research group in cardiac muscle regulation, and is an inventor of several technologies in the areas of drug discovery, protein engineering and immunocalibration technology.
	Michael J. Tandy, FCA (Company Secretary & Finance Director) was appointed non-executive director in 2004. Prior to joining Badrilla, Mike was a partner at Ernst & Young, and director of a number of small and medium sized companies in a variety of commercial sectors.
