Synthetic peptide of sequence ₇LTRSAIRRAS₁₆ comprises the epitope sequence of the anti-PLB monoclonal antibody A1 (A010-14)¹. 1mM epitope peptide abrogates A1 staining of PLB in Western blot format. 50nmol of epitope peptide is sufficient to make 50ml of 1mM peptide solution.

Epitope peptide is purified to >95% purity by reverse phase HPLC. Electrospray mass spectrometry was used to confirm the purity of this peptide.
