Synthetic peptide of sequence ₉RSAIRRAST(PO4)IE₁₉Y  which comprises the epitope sequence of the anti-phospho-PLB (Thr-17) antibody (A010-13). 1mM epitope peptide (PT-17) abrogates PT-17 antibody staining of phosphorylated PLB in Western blot format (figure 1). 50nmol of epitope peptide is sufficient to make 50ml of 1mM peptide solution.

Epitope peptide is purified to >95% purity by reverse phase HPLC. Electrospray mass spectrometry was used to confirm the purity of this peptide .
